Hello! I’m Jay Paudyal, a proud Delhi resident with over 27 years of broad entrepreneurial experience. Throughout my career, I’ve founded numerous firms in multiple areas including as software and web development, artificial intelligence, education, and eCommerce, including EnDetect, Genlish, Astro Vidhi, Urban Skill, and Domain Aftermarket PRO.

I’ve been a WordPress fan since its beginnings in 2003. In the early stages of my profession, I used to manually install WordPress and created multiple websites, frequently customising various things by inserting HTML and PHP code by editing php code or putting some Wizard. Over the years, I’ve seen it evolve from a simple CMS tool to a platform where plugins and themes enable practically anything. WordPress has transformed web development, and I am delighted to have been a part of it from the beginning.

Since 1998, I’ve worked in a number of sectors, including SaaS, education, D2C, astrology, affiliate marketing, domain name investing, content publishing, healthcare, internet governance, jewellery, and home decor. These encounters affected my views on invention, teamwork, and the power of community.

As part of my social endeavours and commitment to the Internet, I am the Vice President of the Internet Society-India Delhi Chapter, an ICANN Fellow, an inSIG Fellow, a Member of Neo-Brahmi Generation Panel under IDN Programs of ICANN and a member of the India School of Internet Governance’s Organisation Committee. Member of FICCI-ILIA and the Global Encryption Coalition.

I’m excited to be a part of WordCamp Delhi 2024 as a co-organizer and look forward to networking with committed WordPress community members!
