The WordPress.org Training team\u2019s Guide Program is a nifty pathway geared to helping folks take their first steps toward contributing, by matching experienced team members with new contributors. Over the course of about a month, each Guide helps a new contributor begin contributing to the Training team, in whatever area most interests them, whether it\u2019s translating content, creating video lessons, running an online workshop, or taking notes at a weekly team meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During this informal Q&A with Training team members like me and many guide members in slack channel. you\u2019ll learn how the Guide program works, why it\u2019s so rewarding \u2013 both for the Guide and the new contributor \u2013 and why it might be just the thing you\u2019ve been looking for to help you get more involved with the WordPress project.<\/p>\n\n\n
