Every memorable WordCamp has one thing in common. A voice that holds the day together. Someone who welcomes the room, introduces the speakers, keeps the energy up between sessions, and makes sure everyone (from first-time attendee to seasoned contributor) feels at home.
Today, we’re opening the Call for Emcees for WordCamp Delhi 2026.
If you enjoy being on stage, know how to work a room, and can carry a conference audience through a full day with energy and warmth, we’d love to hear from you.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for emcees who can:
- Open and close sessions with confidence and clarity
- Introduce speakers in a way that gets the audience leaning in
- Keep the schedule on track without rushing anyone
- Handle transitions, announcements, and the occasional unexpected moment with calm
- Bring their own personality to the stage. Warm, engaging, and real.
Prior stage experience is welcome, but not required. What matters most is comfort with public speaking, a good sense of timing, and an ability to connect with a room full of WordPress enthusiasts.
