What the Venue Offers

DAIC has been chosen not only for its location and prestige, but for its ability to host every element of a two-day WordCamp comfortably. Each space at the venue serves a purpose – and together, they create the environment that makes WordCamp Delhi 2026 possible.

BHIM Auditorium

The heart of the event. A professional-grade auditorium equipped with state-of-the-art audio-visual infrastructure, comfortable seating, and clear sightlines from every row. This is where Conference Day unfolds – keynotes, sessions, panels, and the moments the community will remember long after December.

Conference Hall

The workshop room of the WordCamp. Home to Contributor Day tables, deep-dive sessions, and hands-on collaboration. Set up for teams to gather, work, share screens, and move ideas from conversation to commit.

Sponsor Hall & Exhibition Area

A dedicated space for our sponsors, partners, and product showcases. This is where attendees meet the companies building the plugins, themes, hosting, and tools they use every day – face to face, without a screen in between.

Open Networking Space

The unofficial main stage of any good WordCamp. A comfortable, open area for chai breaks, hallway conversations, business cards, and the informal exchanges that often become the best part of the day.

Accessible Main Entry

A welcoming, fully accessible entrance into DAIC – step-free access with elevators, ramps, and clear wayfinding. Because the doors to WordPress should be open to everyone, and the doors to our venue should be the same.

Getting Here

Absolutely. For WordCamp Delhi, I’d keep the structure almost identical to the WordCamp Asia version, but adapt it to Delhi, DAIC, and the transport options that are actually useful for attendees.

By Air

• The nearest airport is Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL).
• Distance: approximately 14–15 km, depending on the terminal and route.
• Travel time: around 30–60 minutes by road, depending on traffic and time of day.
• Recommended option: App-based taxi or hotel-arranged cab.
• Delhi Airport is well connected to central Delhi, making a taxi or cab the most convenient option for out-of-city and international attendees.
• The Airport Express Metro is also an option for attendees comfortable with public transport, with onward travel by metro, auto-rickshaw, or cab to the venue.

By Metro and Local Transport

Metro

The closest metro station to the venue is Central Secretariat Metro Station on the Yellow Line.

• Central Secretariat (Yellow & Violet Lines) – approximately 0.7 KM (10 Minutes walk)
• Janpath (Violet Line) – approximately 0.7 KM (10 Minutes walk)
• Udyog Bhawan (Yellow Line) – approximately 1.5 KM (15 Minutes walk)

For attendees travelling from other parts of Delhi NCR, the Delhi Metro network provides convenient connections to the central Delhi area.

Local Trains (Railway)

Nearby major railway stations include:

• New Delhi Railway Station: approximately 3–4 km from the venue
• Old Delhi Railway Station: approximately 6 km
• Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station: approximately 8 km

From these stations, taxis and auto-rickshaws are readily available.

New Delhi Railway Station is generally the most convenient option for attendees arriving by train.

By Road and Local Transport

DAIC is centrally located on Janpath Road in Windsor Place, making it accessible from major parts of Delhi and NCR. The official venue address is 15, Janpath, New Delhi – 110001.

• Taxis and ride-share services are convenient options for reaching the venue.
• Auto-rickshaws are available around Janpath and central Delhi.
• Delhi bus services operate through several nearby stops.
• The closest bus stop is Windsor Place, approximately a 3-minute walk from the venue.
• Other nearby bus stops include Eastern Court, Shastri Bhawan, Le Meridien Hotel, and Krishi Bhawan.

Attendees travelling from Gurgaon, Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, or other parts of NCR should allow additional travel time during peak hours.

For WordCamp Delhi 2026:

• Volunteers will be available at key access points to assist attendees.
• Detailed gate and entry instructions will be shared closer to the event dates.

Parking

• Basement parking is available at the venue.
• DAIC has a basement parking facility with capacity for approximately 150 cars.
• Parking availability may be subject to venue and event-day arrangements.
• Attendees are encouraged to use public transport, metro, or ride-share services where possible, especially during peak hours.
