Cover WordCamp Delhi 2026
WordCamp Delhi 2026 brings 500+ attendees, 20+ speakers and two days of talks, workshops and hallway conversations to the Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi on 12–13 December 2026. We’re looking for media partners to help us bring this story to readers, listeners and communities we can’t reach on our own.

Is this you?
We’re not counting followers. A focused newsletter that reaches the right 600 people beats a large account that scrolls past.

Writing
Blogs, magazines, newsletters and independent writers covering the web, WordPress or technology.

Talking
Podcasts, channels and streamers who’d rather interview a person than describe one.

Gathering
Community groups, campus clubs and regional media who reach people we never do.
Publishing in Hindi, English or any other Indian language, moves you up the list rather than down it.
What we ask
A working relationship, not a logo swap. You tell us what you plan to publish and roughly when.
01
Before the doors open
One piece telling your audience it’s happening and why they should care, plus a share on your own channels. Your format, your angle.
02
On the two days
Cover it the way you said you would. Live posts, photos, a thread, a podcast recorded on site.
03
After everyone goes home
A recap, a review, an interview with someone you met. The piece that outlives the weekend.
What you write stays yours. We do not read it first and we do not approve it.
What you get
A pass, on us
One free pass per partner, both days, Contributor Day included.
Your name on the site
Your logo and a link on the Media Partners page.
One announcement post
We name our partners across our social channels.
News before it’s public
Our announcements reach you before they go live, so you have time to write.
A seat at dinner
The networking dinner, with speakers, sponsors and organisers.
If we can’t do one of these for you, we’ll say so before you commit, not after.
And your audience
A partnership that only swaps logos isn’t worth your time or ours. 500+ people can be in the room — what we’re actually after is the weekend being useful to everyone who can’t be.
Sessions are recorded and go up free on WordPress.tv afterwards. Contributor Day is built for people who’ve never contributed to anything before — you don’t need to write code to take part. If your coverage puts that in front of your readers, in your language and on your platform, that’s worth more to us than a follower count.
How we pick
01
A plan with edges
Dates, formats, counts. “Two posts and some social” tells us nothing.
02
Recent work
Two links to things you’ve published in the last few months. We read them.
03
The right room
Your audience overlaps ours: developers, designers, founders, students, the WordPress-curious.
04
Reach we don’t have
Hindi and other Indian languages, campuses, communities outside the usual circles.
Questions, answered
Is this a sponsorship?
No. Sponsorship is a paid package with booths and branding — see our Call for Sponsors. A media partnership is an exchange of coverage for access; no money changes hands either way.
Do you get to approve what we publish?
No. What you write is yours. We don’t read it before it goes out and we don’t ask for changes.
We don’t cover WordPress specifically. Are we eligible?
Yes, if your audience overlaps with ours: developers, designers, founders, students, small business owners, or anyone curious about the open web.
Can we send two people?
One pass is included per partner. Write to us if you need a second and we’ll see what we can do.
Do you cover travel or accommodation?
No. A media partnership covers access and visibility, not travel costs.
We missed the call. Is there any way in?
Write to us at delhi@wordcamp.org. Later than 15 October is tight, but a good plan arriving late is still a good plan.
How to apply
Write to us at delhi@wordcamp.org with your name, your outlet, a couple of links to recent work, and your plan for what you’ll publish before, during and after WordCamp Delhi 2026.
By partnering, you agree to our Code of Conduct.
